Who Has Green Eyes in Game of Thrones

WARNING: This story contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode iii.

Before Arya Stark became the hero of the Battle of Winterfell on Game of Thrones last night, she reunited with Melisandre for the first time since Flavour three, when the Red Woman took Gendry abroad from the Alliance without Banners. At the fourth dimension, she leaves Arya with an ominous prophecy:

"I see a darkness in y'all. And in that darkness, eyes staring back at me. Brown eyes, blueish eyes, light-green eyes. Eyes y'all'll shut forever. We will see over again."

And then, during their meeting in Flavor 8, Episode 3, they recount the prophecy.

Arya: "You said I'd shut many optics forever. You lot were right about that too."

Melisandre: "Brownish eyes, green eyes, and bluish eyes."

The priestess' mention of blue eyes confirms to Arya that she was destined to impale the Nighttime King—who, like the White Walkers and wights he created—has blue optics. (Her words can besides refer to past victims like The Waif, whom Arya killed in Flavor 6.)

But what nearly the rest of the prophecy? Chocolate-brown eyes can refer to other past victims similar Polliver and Ser Meryn Trant. As for the green optics, well, there are a couple of interpretations on that.

The obvious answer is Cersei Lannister, as Arya has been out to become her since Flavour 1 for her office in Ned Stark'south imprisonment (which ultimately led to his death) and more than tragedies on her firm. The Queen of the Seven Kingdoms has light-green eyes, both in the A Song of Ice and Fire books and the show Game of Thrones.

The prophecy may also refer to Littlefinger (a.k.a. Petyr Baelish), whom Arya already killed in Season 7. He'due south said to have gray-green eyes in the books. (In existent life, however, actor Aiden Gillen has blueish eyes.) Maybe Arya has already fulfilled her prophecy and sealed the deal with the Night Rex equally her victim.

Some fans theorize that Arya will kill the Kingslayer and so use his face to kill his sister.
